Worship, grounded in liturgy and music is at the heart of St Michael’s. We run a range of services on Sundays and throughout the week with a variety of styles.
We have one of the finest parish choirs in the area which helps to lead and enhance the worship.
All Saints is a house of prayer and a place of hospitality – providing times to worship, reflect, learn and meet. We love our local community and want to be a blessing to it.
We offer times to worship, pray and reflect as well as times to meet, eat and enjoy life together. You are assured of a friendly welcome at all of our events. We look forward to meeting you.
Known locally as the ‘one hand clock’ church, this ancient and iconic church building is located right next to the new North Stoneham Park development and opposite Eastleigh Football Club. We are committed to playing a full part in our local community and providing a space for worship and well-being.

The story of these churches spans more than a thousand years of worship and community life. St Nicolas’ traces its origins to land granted by King Athelstan in 932 AD, with a church recorded in the Domesday Book and the present stone building dating from the 13th century. Over time it was extended, restored, and although the nearby North Stoneham House was demolished in 1945, the church was carefully rebuilt after wartime damage, preserving its historic character. All Saints’ began as a late-Victorian mission to the new houses being built in Bassett. After a fire destroyed the original Parish Hall, the current church and community centre was built at the other end of Pointout Road. The original mission building is now a nursery school. St Michael & All Angels’ was founded in 1897. Built in stages through the early 20th century, it became a focal point for the growing Bassett community.
Across the centuries, each church has evolved to meet changing needs — through restorations, new halls, memorials, stained glass, and spaces for parish life. Today, these buildings continue to serve as places of worship and welcome, reflecting both deep historical roots and a living commitment to the communities they serve.
